Entering its fourth year as one of the nation’s premiere music festivals on the beach, the West Beach Music and Arts Festival returns to sunny Santa Barbara’s beautiful beachfront in September 2010, bringing romping, fun-in-the-sun, rock, reggae and pop festivities for mom, dad, cousins, the kids, and everyone in between.
What the Festival is Today
The West Beach Music & Arts Festival 2010 will be a 4 day celebration of Music, Arts, & the California Beach Culture. The festival will host 2 days of multi-stage, fun-in-the-sun activities at Chase Palm Park at the beach, 4 days of multi-venue nightlife activities and concerts in downtown Santa Barbara, and 2 days of multi-vessel sunset cruises and concerts on the pacific ocean, out of the beautiful Santa Barbara Harbor.
The festival will feature 60+ acts over the four day period.
The festival will host dozens of local exhibitors, vendors, crafters, and non-profit groups.
The festival will provide jobs for hundreds of local residents, students, and volunteers.
The festival will provide a positive economic impact for Santa Barbara and its local businesses.
The festival will institute all measures possible to ensure the interaction with the environment has a positive impact for the community.
On September 24 & 25, the festival will host 6,500 fans per day at Chase Palm Park at the beach.
On September 23-26, the festival will host a multitude of events, concerts, and after-parties at various venues in downtown Santa Barbara.
On September 23 & 26, the festival will host multiple sunset cruises with band performances on multiple vessels on the Pacific Ocean, out of the Santa Barbara Harbor.
