Healthline Honors CBD Products Among Winners Of Inaugural Healthline Awards

Healthline Unveils Inaugural Awards Honoring CBD and Wellness Products

Fullspan Health, a unified B2B healthcare platform from RVO Health, announced the winners of the inaugural 2026 Healthline Awards on September 29, 2026, in New York. The awards recognize more than 25 outstanding health and wellness products across categories including vitamins, supplements, CBD, health trackers, and recovery devices.

Each product was evaluated with the same evidence-based standards, expert medical review, and editorial rigor that Healthline applies to all of its health content. Healthline’s Medical Standards and Insights team assessed product composition, potential for harm, company integrity, transparency around safety and quality, and whether health claims were supported by evidence.

Only products and brands that met Healthline’s medical, brand, and content integrity standards moved to hands-on editorial testing, with additional criteria applied by category, including supplements and CBD. Products could earn one of two Healthline Award distinctions.

Healthline launched the awards as consumers navigate rising health-based misinformation, unverified trends, and unsubstantiated product claims. The company cited survey data showing 56% of Healthline users say recommendations from health experts matter most when purchasing products, and 82% of consumers say they value websites that combine trusted information with tools to act on what they learn.

“Consumers may know what’s popular or well marketed, but they deserve to know which health and wellness products truly stand up to medical rigor,” said Robin Hough, SVP of Content and Editor-in-Chief, Healthline, in the announcement. “We look at ingredient safety, whether claims are supported by current clinical research, and how transparent the company is about the product.”

CBD Products Take Top Honors

CBD products featured prominently among the winners, with Joy Organics earning multiple distinctions. In the CBD ingestibles category, the Editor’s Pick went to Joy Organics Broad Spectrum THC-Free CBD Softgels, 25mg, while Best Overall went to Medterra Enhanced Relief Citrus CBD Tincture, 1000mg.

In the CBD topicals category, Joy Organics swept both distinctions. The Editor’s Pick was Joy Organics Organic CBD Salve, Lavender Eucalyptus, 1000mg, and Best Overall was Joy Organics CBD Muscle & Joint Gel, 3000mg.

Other CBD-adjacent winners included Cornbread Mushroom Gummies Sleep, which was named a Featured Favorites Editor’s Pick. The full winners list is available at Healthline.com/programs/awards.

The awards also honored products in categories such as creatine, protein powder, prenatals, health trackers, multivitamins, recovery devices, and probiotics.

Testing criteria and minimum testing periods varied by category to assess quality, functionality, ease of use, value, transparency, and performance.

Trusted Expertise in a Blurred Marketplace

“The line between health content and commerce continues to blur as consumers discover products through creators, social platforms, and AI,” said Christine Maguire, Chief Business Officer and EVP, Fullspan Health, in the announcement. “Healthline has an opportunity to bring something distinct to that environment: trusted health expertise.”

Maguire noted that Healthline is the highest-ranked health publisher cited by both ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews. She said the Healthline Awards extend that credibility into product evaluation that consumers can trust.
