Jushi Holdings Lands DEA Registrations For Medical Cannabis Operations

Jushi Receives DEA Registrations

Jushi Holdings Inc. The registrations were issued as part of the initial issuance of federal registrations to qualifying medical marijuana businesses.

The company is headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida.

Jushi previously announced the submission of its DEA registration applications on May 28, 2026. The registrations follow the Attorney General’s April 2026 order, which rescheduled qualifying state-licensed medical marijuana to Schedule III under the Controlled Substances Act. That order also established a federal regulatory framework for eligible operators.

The company described the registrations as an important milestone for its medical cannabis operations. Jushi is a vertically integrated cannabis company focused on building a multi-state portfolio of branded cannabis assets through opportunistic acquisitions, distressed workouts, and competitive applications.

The DEA registrations apply to certain state-licensed medical marijuana operations within Jushi’s portfolio. The company said it strives to maximize shareholder value while delivering high-quality products across all levels of the cannabis ecosystem.

The announcement was made through a press release distributed by GlobeNewswire from Boca Raton, Florida.

CEO Cites Federal and State Alignment

Cacioppo said the company appreciates the efforts of the Trump Administration and the DEA in advancing meaningful cannabis reform and recognizing state-licensed medical cannabis operators.

“We believe this marks an important step toward greater alignment between state and federal regulation and a more consistent regulatory framework for the industry,” Cacioppo said in the same statement. The CEO’s comments tied the registrations to the broader federal rescheduling process.

The company had applied for the registrations in May 2026, roughly one month after the Attorney General’s rescheduling order.

Jushi said the milestone matters for the medical patients it serves across its state-licensed operations. The company did not specify which individual facilities or states received registrations in the announcement.

What Comes Next

The DEA registrations are now in effect for Jushi’s qualifying state-licensed medical marijuana operations. The registrations were issued under the federal regulatory framework created by the Attorney General’s April 2026 order.

Jushi operates as a vertically integrated, multi-state cannabis operator led by what the company describes as an industry-leading management team. The company said it is focused on maximizing shareholder value across the cannabis ecosystem.

The company’s announcement did not detail additional applications or future registrations beyond those received. The press release noted that forward-looking statements involve known and unknown risks and uncertainties.

Investors and patients can follow further updates through the company’s website and social media channels. The registrations mark the current status of Jushi’s federal standing under the new Schedule III framework.
