Little Green Pharma (ASX:LGP) has completed an all-scrip merger with Victorian cultivator Cannatrek, closing after Federal Court approval. The combined group now holds cultivation, manufacturing, clinic and export operations spanning Australia and Europe.
The transaction brought together the largest domestic pure-play medicinal cannabis producers under a single corporate roof. Cannatrek owners emerged with the majority of the enlarged register.
The original Western Australian business contributed its European manufacturing footprint and established export channels. Little Green Pharma shares were trading at 0.07 AUD as of the last update on 25 September 2026.
The company enters the final stretch of the calendar year as a materially different business from the one that started it. Consolidation of this scale is rare in a sector populated by small operators with narrow product ranges.
The merged entity describes itself as a vertically integrated group covering cultivation, extraction, formulation, distribution, clinics and digital health. That is a materially broader base than either party operated alone.
Before the merger, Little Green Pharma operated as a Western Australian business with a European manufacturing footprint and established export channels. Cannatrek operated as a Victorian cultivator. Neither party alone held the full range of operations the combined group now spans.
Vertical integration in this industry is not a slogan. Margin leaks at every handover between grower, manufacturer, distributor and dispensing channel, and each of those handovers also introduces compliance risk.
Owning the chain end to end removes intermediary margin and shortens the distance between a crop decision and a patient outcome. It also improves supply reliability.
The combined entity’s operations now span cultivation, manufacturing, clinics and export across Australia and Europe, with Cannatrek owners holding the majority of the enlarged register and the original Little Green Pharma business contributing its European manufacturing footprint and established export channels.
