Revelry Buyers’ Club Fall Takes Over Manhattan’s Pier 36 Tomorrow

Revelry Returns to Manhattan

On The Revel’s fall edition of Revelry, branded Buyers’ Club Fall, takes over Pier 36 in Manhattan tomorrow, Friday, September 18. The event caps the organization’s tenth anniversary year, a decade spanning the grassroots gatherings that predated New York’s legal market and the curated trade shows that now define it.

Lulu Tsui, On The Revel’s co-founder and chief experience officer, has taken to calling Buyers’ Club “Industry Abundance Day.”

A Format Built Around Buyers

Revelry inverts the typical conference structure: the booths belong to the brands, while the people walking the floor are the licensed retailers those brands already supply or want to reach. The atmosphere has been described as less like a trade floor and more like the industry throwing itself a party, one that generates a significant portion of the year’s deal flow.

The spring show at Basilica Hudson drew 2,800 attendees, 250-plus brands across 180 booths and sponsorships, and 562 licensed retail stores represented. That retailer figure works out to roughly 85% of New York’s 663 active retailers gathered in one room on a single day.

No other event in the state concentrates the buy side like that. Attendees have reported leaving having met people they meant to meet, plus a half dozen they did not know they needed to.

What to Expect Tomorrow

Buyers’ Club Fall opens tomorrow at Pier 36 in Manhattan. The event concludes On The Revel’s tenth anniversary year, which began with gatherings held before New York’s legal cannabis market existed and now centers on curated trade shows serving the state’s licensed industry.

Organizers have positioned Buyers’ Club as a gathering of the industry’s buy side, with licensed retailers walking the floor and brands hosting them at booths across the venue.
