Seed Junky Genetics Expands Trulieve Partnership To Bring Premium Strains To Pennsylvania

Partnership Expands Into Pennsylvania

Seed Junky Genetics announced on September 30, 2026, a significant expansion of its strategic partnership with Trulieve through a new exclusive licensing agreement in Pennsylvania. The Los Angeles-based genetics company will extend its relationship with Trulieve beyond a standalone brand arrangement.

The collaboration between the two companies began in Florida, where Trulieve has successfully licensed Seed Junky Genetics for several years. Under the expanded agreement, Trulieve will also reintroduce Seed Junky as a standalone brand in Florida.

Trulieve will introduce authentic Seed Junky Genetics products to consumers throughout Pennsylvania through its cultivation, processing, packaging, and statewide distribution network. Trulieve is described as one of the largest cannabis companies in the world.

Seed Junky Genetics will continue providing its proprietary genetics, intellectual property, cultivation methodologies, operational support, and quality assurance standards. Trulieve will oversee cultivation, production, packaging, and distribution across its operations in both Florida and Pennsylvania.

The company said Trulieve’s proven execution, multi-state cultivation expertise, regulatory leadership, and operational scale made it a natural choice to deepen the partnership.

Founder Emphasizes Earned Trust

“Great partnerships aren’t built overnight they’re earned over time and through consistency and delivery,” said JBeezy, Founder of Seed Junky Genetics, in the announcement.

“We’ve worked alongside Trulieve in Florida for years and have seen firsthand their commitment to quality, consistency, and doing things the right way,” JBeezy added.

The founder said expanding into Pennsylvania together was a natural next step because Trulieve has the experience and infrastructure to deliver the Seed Junky experience consumers expect.

The announcement states the partnership reflects a shared belief that exceptional cannabis begins with exceptional genetics and is brought to life through disciplined cultivation.

By combining Seed Junky Genetics’ decades of breeding expertise with Trulieve’s multi-state cultivation platform, the partnership is designed to preserve the authenticity and consistency of the brand across every market.

Deliberate Licensing Strategy

The expanded partnership represents another major milestone in Seed Junky Genetics’ carefully curated licensing strategy, according to the announcement. Rather than pursuing rapid expansion, the company has built its licensing model around long-term relationships with trusted operators.

Seed Junky Genetics said it partners only with operators capable of delivering the quality, consistency, and cultivation excellence that define the brand. The company emphasizes thoughtful expansion through carefully selected licensing partners rather than broad market saturation.

Seed Junky Genetics is a brand with over two decades of experience in plant genetics research, cultivation methodology development, and operational collaboration across regulated markets.

The company partners with select licensed operators domestically and internationally through a structured regional licensing model designed to support brand consistency, quality assurance, and long-term market growth.

Under the agreement, Trulieve will maintain the cultivation practices and brand standards that have become synonymous with Seed Junky Genetics.
